I can't pick up backpacks, help.

For me backpacks are really hard to find, like seriously hard. One time i found one and i cant pick it up, the game said i cant pick it up and my backpack slot is empty. Please help, am i doing something wrong? is it a bug? or is it just a server porblem? thanks.

Mhmmm, probably a glitch, make sure you drop all your stuff in your inventory before you pick it up meybe your to heavy....

You can't pickup a backpack like you can in Dayz when wearing one. First empty what you have in your backpack you are wearing, then move away, and drop that backpack.

Go back to the new backpack you wish to use, pick it up. Once you do that then go, and pick up your items.

For now that is the only way to do it.

Easier way to do it, if you find a new backpack (like one with more slots you want to pick up) just look at it and press G (on the left it'll show the empty backpacks contents) and you can just drag and drop your inventory into it without having to drop all your items on the floor which saves a bit of time.

Not sure why you wouldn't be able to carry a backpack, was the server you were on particularly laggy? When you looked at it did text show in the middle of the screen saying it was an item you could pick up?

i was playing on a rather high ping server, i think thats the reason, and thanks!

If the items in the backpack exceed your weight then you can't pick up the backpack. Were you carrying a lot of items when you tried to pick it up?

i was carrying a lot of items, my slots were full. thx

i have the same issue except i've tried everything in these comments and none of it works it's like my bind command is destroyed, but if i rebind it it still doesn't work.
