Old thread, but might as well say something since it has already been necro'd.
Pretty sure the devs want to increase mutant spawns, but I think first there needs to be more craftability, so if you don't have anything, you can stay away from mutant infested towns, and build a craftable bat or something. In general, crafting needs to be expanded on imo.
ummm you know there are crafted melee weapons,like paddle's with nails,a torch,nail knuckles,and a few more variables.
The point I was making was to not need to enter towns for loot. To craft weapons, you usually need things you could only find in a house, I more mean the devs add multiple weapons entirely crafted from stuff found in nature.
