"Launch Error Forbidden Windows kernel modification detected"
Ever since I updated to the patch #39, I keep getting a "Launch Error Forbidden Windows kernel modification detected" message. I tried google and all I can find is info on Rust and Robocraft which I don't have either of these games. But what I HAVE found is something to do with EasyAntiCheat, which Rust and Robocraft both use. I have tried every possible fix I can find for THIOSE games, but havn't found one person with this issue on Miscreated. I have a 100% legal and valid copy of windows 10 Home and I also read a couple comments about cheating, and I don't cheat. Any help would be appreciated here. I ran it the day before the #39 patch and everything was 100% fine. It did not start doing this until after the patch.

Try validating game files if you already haven't.
I have, twice and no luck. I have tried compatibility mode, disabling/uninstalling AV, disabling firewall, etc. I understand that there may be no fix for me personally, but mainly this post is put out because I do have the issue and just hoping someone else has also and may know the root of the problem. When I Google this message, I find a lot of info on EasyAntiCheat, but no fixes
Ok, fixed it... My fix was uninstalled my brand new video driver and reinstalled. Boom fixed. Thanks guys

Those who have a problem with forbidden Windows kernel modification should try this, don't ask me how or why this works, just do what I did.

Open CMD and type following commands, and don't forget u have to use administrator privilege for this to work or access will be denied.

DEL "%windir%\system32\drivers\oem-drv64.sys"
DEL "%windir%\system32\xNtKrnl.exe"
DEL "%windir%\system32\xOsLoad.exe"
DEL "%windir%\System32\ru-RU\xOsLoad.exe.mui"
DEL "%windir%\System32\en-US\xOsLoad.exe.mui"
%windir%\System32\BCDEDIT.exe /set {current} path \Windows\system32\winload.exe
%windir%\System32\BCDEDIT.exe /deletevalue {current} kernel
%windir%\System32\BCDEDIT.exe /deletevalue {current} nointegritychecks
%windir%\System32\BCDEDIT.exe /deletevalue {current} custom:26000027
REG DELETE HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\oem-drv64 /va /f

the last line is for a shutdown, it is recommended but you don't have to do it.
shutdown -r -t 0

Maybe post that in Robocraft forum?

Yes, I suggest checking with Robocraft developers. This is an old thread so I'm locking it, please don't necro old threads.
