Building a Floating Base
The most common base design on each servers are Floating Bases. They are considered as the safest design from raiders, for any normal bases could be found either stolen by 'climbing', or destroyed. People even could make a very well designed floating base on the edge of a cliff.

And my question is, how do you make that happen? lol
I can't even stack more than 2 platforms, but I saw other people could make a so high up Large Floating Base, I'm saying a real well designed normal base but floats that with a 5-ton truck couldn't even take a peek of what's inside - plus some missing connectors between entrance and the main room, even the tallest bridge can't reach the gap and seems impossible to put a bridge on the very edge of a cliff.
And did I mention about their floating garrage too? I'm just, wow.

Anyone know how to do it? If there any a 'how to' topic about this, I could do it, I just need the basics that's all. Thanks before.

you can even build one at ground level start off using platforms and when you make your way up remove them and they will float.

I can only stack 1,3x4x4 two times, a 3x4x4 platform cannot be stacked at all.
I don't understand how people could make it so high.

I know, but I would still play the game until then, and my stuffs wouldn't be safe until then, or I would keep on getting stolen until then.
you can only build 9m up from the height of your plotpole so if your plotpole is below where you're building thats why you cant build higher alternatively putting your pole an a rock can give you extra height so you can put a 2 floor separation inside the base so top floor unraidable
like my castle in progress see pic
if you look at the round tower under construction on the left, its 5 levels i removed the 2nd and 3 levels inside the base so you cant get up to top floor without stacking 2 levels of stairs on top of first floor only ground floor is raidable so i just lose the front door every night

Stop right there, what do you need to make that tower? a special blueprints or by combining types of structures? cz if it's a special blueprints then i'm so far behind to make that happen.
yup you need platforms 2 blueprint for 3m platforms, platform 1 blueprint for 2m platforms (same with walls 1 and 2 apart from 2 also gives you windows) combined with curved blueprint for the curved walls and platforms best place to find blueprints is the white barrack houses and metal barracks on the bunkbeds

so its a combination of 5 blueprints to make a round tower and its not easy to find them all

I don't know if my experience is enough but I've been playing h1z1 for 2 years and I'm pretty advanced with its base buildings, like any types, I can make it happen. But since I'm a new player in Miscreated, to be honest, it's very hard to learn how to make the designs by just seeing them. There could be dozens of tricks (I believe there are) that new players like me would not know cz no one talks about it or post a video tutorial/basics of floating bases. I need to learn a lot about this stuffs since the game gave you freedom of building structures. Glad you gave me the hints, thank you!
I wouldn't mind if you can tell me some more :)
i might put up a guide on how to make a perfectly round tower. curved walls are bugged and dont fit to curved panels but after some trial and error i found a way that it all aligns perfectly.
but if you add me on steam i dont mind helping you, you just need to find the blueprints to build the better parts first

So I have to look for the curved blueprint. And you mentioned that your base got breached very often, could you double the walls? If you can, how many layers can you make?
What if they used 5 ton truck to reach the main room of your base? With design like that, Is the 5 ton truck still a problem for you?

I'm sorry for asking too many questions, I'm a maniac wierdo of building bases and I love to learn all designs even I don't use them. But this one I will, but with a lot of epic combinations of other designs.

basically you need platforms 1&2 walls 1&2 and curves to fully build the round tower
platforms and walls 1 gives you 2m high platforms and 2m walls
platforms and walls 2 gives you 3m high platforms and 3m walls plus windows
eg
for for a curved 3m wall you need walls 2 + curved
for a 2m curved wall you need walls 1 + curved
same with platforms

You can stack wheels, jerrycans and backpacks on top of the 5 ton or bus to reach any base!
