is the game abandoned?

has been a while since I played it, but it looks like nobody is talking about it anymore. Just saw on my library and I remember amazing moments with this game and my friend.

Is it still being updates frequently? How much has changed in the past 1,5 year?

We haven't gotten an actual update in months. MONTHS.
Complete radio silence from the developers, videos coming out that they're toxic & ban legit players/members.

They broke the food so it's basically unplayable anyway.

You can host your own game now along with your able make your own mods if you wish too other than that the game devs ruined the game in more than one way and most people move to modded player hosted servers or just change games. Me i enjoy it as i make my own mods and run my own server for my own enjoyment as that is the only way for me to get any kind of enjoyment out of this ruined game.

There is an update every few weeks oh though lately its been small stuff that breaks more than they fix.

If you like being a loner like TheeMan and play that way you will hate this game, it's dieing at a rapid pace because the devs have no idea what to do nor do they care.

I don't mind going at it solo but as for this TheeMan, he's just in love with himself. Has an answer for everyone that he feels is the best answer to everything. The game is a buggy mess, even more-so after this other so-called developer has been working on it. As for using mods and/or, creating them, there's no support for them from the developers so, that's neither here nor, there. I play on vanilla servers, those are the servers that need to be fixed.

BoyDilly - No, the game's not abandoned. The devs achieved their major internal goals they had set for the game, so it's just in maintenance mode. Here's a dev approved post made on the game's Discord a couple of months ago:

The current state of Miscreated development:
• The Miscreated devs have no plans at this time to develop further content for Miscreated
• The Miscreated devs are still planning on releasing a Phase 3 adjustment for the new storage system
• The Miscreated devs are largely focused on bug and exploit fixing - this focus is on bugs and exploits they feel are game breaking
• The Miscreated devs may still tweak some object settings values if they feel such tweaks are warranted
• Suggestions are still welcomed and encouraged as suggestions may lead to the aforementioned tweaks, or the suggestions may be used in future projects
• The Miscreated devs encourage players who want an experience which differs from that found on official servers to seek out player run servers offering the combination of moderation, settings, and server mods which best suits the individual player's desired play-style - this is why the Miscreated devs allow for player-run servers and have opened self-hosted servers to modding

couple months try 4-5. it's dead jim get used to it.
