1)Included now SCRIPTS.PAK file that allows you to MOD your server and make changes to loot and change other asapects of the game. The location of that file is in MiscreatedServer/MODDING -Scripts PAK
2) Included SQL browser to help make changes to your MiscreatedDB.

In your Steam client Goto View>Servers> Click on the FAVORITES tab and click ADD A SERVER If you are using the EASYMODE just add this 127.0.0.1:64092 (Note you will need to refresh a few times and also reopen steam. Also note I have seen where the game loads and kicks you out on the first connection but works on the second attemp)

If you used the EasyMode above rcon works perfectly fine. Note RCON IP is the bind IP you used in the start server also note +http_startserver port:64190 is the rcon port. So if you use that EASYMode and did not do anything and just started the server you will add the follow

RCON IP: 127.0.0.1
PORT : 64190
Password: CHANGETHIZPASS

(Please change your rcon password in the hosting.cfg file)

Factions - here is an exsample to how you can create factions. This needs to be added in your hosting.cfg Please note faction 0 "That's a ZERO" is the default when you first spawn in.
If you added this to your hosting.cfg restart your server. When you join the server type in the factions name in chat i.e !SASUnitykillers you will see

Factions - Spawning
You can replace the 0.0.0 with a location or radius. For now we will keep it simple. As you can see anyone who joins faction 3 "SASUnityKillers" will spawn in the airfield in the smae place.
Join faction SASUnityMember and you will spawn in hayward. Please note I left out Faction 0 you can have fresh spawns come in with a custom loadout. When the server restarts you will need to rejoin a faction.

Questions And Answers

Question: What is -mis_gameserverid 1337 or 100?
Answer: It is a Game Server ID to the database if you change this number your server will be wiped it can be any number)

Question: 12-23-18 9:08AM BUG! Fresh spawn everytime you load in or cannot drop items?
Answer: if anyone is having a bug that they spawn as a freshy on self-hosted server and other players are fine its a database issue. To resolve i.e look at this players name http://sasunity.com/videos/mRemoteNG_-_confCons.xml_2018-12-23_08-32-01.png Change your name and remove the special characters and edit the data base and remove that players name and clan that has that name. BEFORE you change anything in your database MAKE A BACKUP COPY! and make sure Your server is stopped and start it back up. Multiple people resolve. They can now drop items, no fresh spawn !

Question: How to run the server as a service?

Answer: There is multiple ways to register an application as a service here is one from good.
sc.exe create <new_service_name> binPath= "<path_to_the_service_executable>"
You must have quotation marks around the actual exe path, and a space after the binPath=

Answer: http://www.firedaemon.com/ is another tool just use the free version.

Random Stuff :
Add this command to the server : Replace password with a password and IP of the server that it can bind too.

Why no one uses STEAMCMDgui when it comes to install a game on a dedicated server or virtualmachine ?

I just wanna help those who are more into using a gui rather then typing in letters P:
The tool i use for over years on my dedicated server .

A nice tool which you can download any app id that you need for your dedicated server .
You only have to set the STEAMcmd path .
There's also a extra download button for STEAMcmd and a game update button .
You only need the Miscreated Dedicated server app id ,which is 302200 .
I found that info here https://steamdb.info/app/302200/ .
Then you add it as a custom game, name it when it pops up and gave in the app id .
Set the path where do you wanna install it and press the update install button .
Installing done .

Remember it's just for the installation, i think you cannot run the server via this tool,
as i didn't tested it i can't really tell if starting the server via this gui would work.
Only thing i can say i tried to start The Forest earlier this week and it didn't work !

Hi thanks I saw that the other day I think its the one in Steam CMD section or something close to it. I was going to add it but the running and confgiuration of the server. and maybe I should make an advance section in my post?

hey OP you made a typo on the ports ,actually started up and saw this in the log

Private server and client are running on the same machine

A dedicated server is alway running on a dedicated machine so that means the Client trying to join it on that machine will never be able to. Remote hosting also eliminates the low-latency advantage that would otherwise be held by any player who hosts and connects to a server from the same machine or local network.

This is not even remotely true.

I have hosted plenty of dedicated servers for lots of different types of games. If you have the processing power and the memory for it, you can definitely connect to your dedicated server from the same computer that is hosting it.

This game, however, I cannot seem to get to let me connect. The server responds to my attempt and then promptly kicks me before I can even start loading it. No explanation, just kicks me. Yes, I have my SteamID64 whitelisted, too.

After running it on the serverside for nearly 24hrs not able to join.
It also doesn't show up in the server list,neither lan or online.

It starts up fine, ports were set correctly...no issues in the logs...

I can see my server in my favorite section ingame, but not in the server all list.
i can join my own hosted server but my friends not.

I believe you need to do some port forwarding to allow other people to join your server.

I started the first step of the install (3 step install) and I decided against creating a server now. Is there a command to uninstall the first step? (Where you click the install and it slowly goes through uploading the server files in the command window.) I would like to if possible reverse that first part please.

I will likely come back in the future and keep this thread open so I can continue reading even if I'm not doing the full server install now.

What is the "-mis_gameserverid" value for, I've seen examples with 100 and 1337 in it but there is no explanation anywhere that says what it is for or if it's even needed.
