Possible to run with Directx10 ???

can i force to launch this game in Directx 10 on my windows 10 ?
reading a bit about Cry Engine 3, maybe this launch options work but im not sure:
-DX10
or
-r_driver=GL


i had better FPS stability on Win7 compared windows 10
now i got 35-130 averange, before i had 50-90 (more stable)

my computer:
16gb ram ddr3 1.600 quad channel
i7 3820 4,3 GHZ stable OC
Win 10 Profesional 64bits
AMD RX 580 8GB (i feel bad optimization for amd compared with other friends with nvidia)
i got it installed on a secondary disk "clean" HHD Western Digital Blue 7.200 rpm.

important note:
i got all settings disabled and/or Low, except resolution that i use Full HD
plus well configured win10 disabling many options, tweaks etc...

comming back to my question;
ITS THERE ANY LAUNCH OPTION FOR MISCREATED TO FORCE RUN WITH DIRECTX10 INSTEAD OF DIRECTX11 ???

miscreated uses cryengine 4 (3.8.6), not 3.

also, the game is actually only dx11. the devs never added a dx12 build because dx12 wasn't stable in that version of the engine.

build of cryengine the game uses doesn't support dx9.

THIS GAME REQUIRES A DIRECTX11 GRAPHICS CARD. DIRECTX10 AND OLDER IS NOT SUPPORTED. THE GAME WILL NOT EVEN START IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DIRECTX11 CARD.

But it says not about it's presence on your computer, but also about hardware support

Win 10 uses Dx12 and compared to Win7 with Dx11, 7 is the winner in ALL games I own, I swithched back to Win7 Pro for this reason 2 years ago, keep playing in Win7, much better OS IMO

Maybe you can switch back to test for your self which OS is better, at least for gaming...

it's not about what OS uses, but game. Miscreated uses dx11, no matter what os you have installed

I had the same problem as you.

My GPU is AMD RX 590 8GB.
My solution is to run Steam in Big Picture mode.
I went from getting 30~50 FPS to stable 60 FPS (I cap FPS) with graphics set to Ultra at 1080 resolution.
