How to Create a Self-Hosted Server - Easiest Instructions
So, in order to create a Self-Hosted Server, follow these directions.

First, install the server files here. https://sasunity.com/miscreated/Miscreated-Server-Install-STEAMCMD.zip

After the download is finished, create a folder on your desktop titled 'Miscreated Server', and proceed to extract the files from the link above into it.

Third, install the RCON Server Manager from the following link: https://github.com/csprance/MisRCON/releases/download/0.2.3/MisRCON.Setup.0.2.3.exe

Next is the fun part. This is where you will actually make your server work. Open up the folder you created, and go to the following file path, and run the 'Install-Update-Miscreated-Server' batch file. Once the batch file installs all of the needed content and the console closes, open up your Folder and open the folder inside called 'MiscreatedServer'.

Once you have done this, right click on 'MiscreatedSTARTServer'.bat and click edit. Delete the following in the notepad: -sv_bind (If there is an IP after that also delete that) Make sure to leave space between any other text in the notepad.

Lastly, after doing that, all you have to is go back to the MiscreatedServer folder that contains the .bat you just edited and open up the hosting.cfg file. It will open in either WordPad or NotePad and you will be able to edit it. To set your server name, simply delete the stock name and replace it with yours. Make sure not to delete the equals symbol or the quotation marks. Do the same with the others. Be sure to set a unique http password. sv_motd displays the message of the day, and you can change this as many times as you want. The sv_url is where you can paste a certain URL which will display itself in chat whenever a player joins. This can be your discord, website, or teamspeak. Once you have all of this changed, be sure to save it.

There you have it! Your server is set up! However, there is one last step in order to make it public to all others. In order to make it public, you must enable portforwarding to the following ports: 64090-64190.

In order to port-forward, you must find the IP of your router. Go to your desktop, hold windows and the r key at the same time, and type in cmd. Once the black console opens, then enter ipconfig. A lot of stuff will pop up, but look in it until you see the 'Default Gateway'. That is your Router's IP. Copy and paste that and copy it into the address bar on your internet browser. A window will pop up, and that will be the page to sign into your router. You will be prompted to put in a password. If it has not been set, the default password is admin. If it has been set, though, then you must ask a person who is living with you if they have changed it or contact your ISP to reset it. If not, though, then you can proceed. There are many brands of routers, and you can look up how to port-forward on your certain brand.

However, if you have a TP-Link, you are in luck because I do as well and can show you how. What you want to do is go to the dashboard and click on Advanced at the top. On the left side, scroll down to NAT Forwarding. Click on that and select Virtual Servers. Click add at the top right. For Service Type, name it Miscreated Server. For External port, write 64090-64190. For your internal IP, use ipconfig and copy + paste your IPv4 Address to it. After that, leave the Internal Port blank and set your protocol to all. Make sure to have Enable This Entry checked. Once you have all this done, click OK. Voila! Your server is finished! Go ahead and run the MiscreatedSTARTServer.bat in your files and have fun!

(If you want more customizations to your server check the LIST-OF-HOSTING-CMDS text file and copy and paste the ones you wants. Be sure to activate or disable with a 1 or 0 after the equals symbol)

That's it! It doesn't seem easy, but once you're done then it'll seem as if it was easy as pie! If you have any questions feel free to ask me below. Have a fun time!

You're welcome!
Does not seem to work for me, I guess? I did all the things you told me to, also deleted the sv_bind IP in the Batch file. Did the forwarding for both UDP and TCP. I am a bit clueless now!

Also gotta say that I do not really know what to type in when RCON asks for the server data - which IP is it, if there is no binding in the batch file? And which of the 100 ports that are forwarded?

About Rcon (MisRCON)
After downloading do we have to modify the hosting.cfg file? If so what is it that we have to modify.
Also do any of you that use steamcmd know what we have to do to setup our Whitelist where do we set that up and how.
Thanks for your help
