Steam Inventory on Self-Hosted?

I have steam_inventory_enable=0 set in the cfg, but when accessing a Kiosk I only see Skins tab and no regular inventory. Anyone aware of what the problem might be or if it is just not working at this time?

Steam kiosks are not supported on selfhosted servers, only official database and rented database servers can use its functions

Please fix this, there is no reason why self-hosted server should be excluded from being able to use all game functions.

Server admins can log out in a highly loot/weapon spawn populated area, restart server and fresh look spawns right away. Do this over and over and it's considered unfair and an exploirt which can be used across servers.

As stated, it would be way to easy to turn up loot rates, mutant damage off, then just farm ammo on your own server, and then transfer to official servers with kiosk.

Exactly you can abuse your self hosted server then kiosk and bring items into official or i3d servers i find it a good thing its seperated.
Each has its advantages, official and rented have full kiosk support, while selfhosted u have moe control and can modify it alot

On self hosted servers you can use commands for spawn... literally spawning a ton of verything including AmCoins > you would put it into a Kiosk and tadaaa...
Everyone would literally create a server just to fill up their Kiosk.
I'm happy this option is off on self-hosted servers.

server admins can do the same thing on rented servers, they have rcon too

Yes, but pay $40-60 a month for that? Any server with more than 1-2 players would see they are up to something with odd server settings. Still can happen, but greatly minimized.

They cannot, rented servers, with kiosk support (central database servers) have no such options like the self hosted do

well thanks for the answers everyone! It is wonderful we can do self hosted now! look at communities like counter-strike source, the game was massivly more popular due to it being open as it is! i hope this game is going that way as well!

not sure what your saying. but Kiosk won't ever work on self hosted.

Yes i understand about the kiosks on self hosted servers, which is a damn shame cheaters have to ruin it for everyone. Anyways I was saying games that allow self hosted servers and open source code for modding gives the game a much much larger community and customer base.

there are no cheats for this game to spawn in stuff its a load of B-U-LL S-H-I-T- if ther is it must be on the dark web have not found any they need to let us use the steam inventory
