Poor performance

Im having alot of performance issues, wondering if its me or if the game is just poorly optimized.
My pc has an amd asus strix vega 64 graphics card and an i76700 intel processor. I can run any modern AAA game on max settings in 1440p and get atleast 70 frames per second. But in miscreated on medium settings it bounces anywhere between 15 and 70 fps. While riding a bike through a town im lucky to get a steady 20 fps. And pretty often (maybe once an hour) my game will freeze forcing me to restart my pc.

the game is badly optimized atm now, pretty much any system will get fps drops

Part of it could be your ping, or other software running. i7, 1070, 64GB, running 1440 also, get between 30-60 mostly. Not many true drops, mostly high settings.

GTX1070 8Gb GPU
16GB RAM
Windows 10 64bit OS

Game is all on high settings apart from game effects that I set to low.

SMAA is set at 1TX

Motion blur is the only check box setting that is off.

I cap my frames at 75fps and it stays there for the most part unless I go to hayward and then it
goes between 47-65 which seems to be the worse part of the map.

i think i read that vega 64 is performing bad, maybe try changing some settings maybe its something specific in amd settings or ingame settings like tesselation.

Something to do with the current AMD cards is causing issues.

this game does have poor performance, that goes for any rig... low or high end.

My GF has a mid range PC and it runs well
I5 and a GTX 1060 does the trick.

I have a i74790 with a gtx970 and the game looks amazing. I am shocked actually
at how good the game runs on such an old card, and really supprised to see a
"Game is not optimized " thread. But, every game has atleast one of these threads,
no matter what.

Update: i reinstalled my game a few days ago and im no longer getting freezes or crashes but i sttill get huge frame rate drops in towns and cities. its really strange, if im just sitting in my base or wandering around i get 50-70 fps but the moment i step foot in a town it drops to 20-30
