yes, they could use steam. maybe they should, but saying they are disconnected isn't fair when you know very well they are available and respond to people.
a very small percentage are complaining about having to use discord. obviously, the majority of the community doesn't think your problem is a problem.
about vlogs, you don't know how toxic the community is. if entrada ever misses a date, people freak out. it's went as far as people getting mad at them because they saw a placeholder patch date in a stream. would you believe people took screenshots of these dates just to post them on the forums to rile people up ?
yes i do beleive that if you post it in public people expect it . some other game posted their road map in public and things still are not done that they said would be 2 years ago . so even tho thing seem slow these devs are doing a better job
You can stop the white knighting and speak as a rational person theres nothing to prove. From my experience social media publications or otherwise wide scale updates do have a positive impact. So says 4 years of next gen games development. The hassle factor is worth it.
Noob dev company's always have to learn that, never ever promise release dates unless Its an absolute certainty. The nature of video games development 9/10 times will derail release plans resulting in delays and then people claiming it was all lies lol when actually you did intend to release but an unexpected bug aka blocker appeared. Sadly most ppl don't care about that and thus the company runs into problems. If nothing was said in the first place nothing would be complained about other than when's release lol but anyway once that cats out the bag its downhill.
The simpel problem with discord is that if someone asks something and gets an awnser, someone else with the same question who aks the next day won't know. It's a constant stream of people talking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with from time to time some constructive feedback (like 5 % maby?).
It costs the devs way more time beceause they have to awnser the same questions over and over again.
I had found a bug last week that i did not know about (4 atachments and your silencer stop working). I mentioned this on discord and they already know about it for months. So there must be at least a dozen people who askt the same thing like me in the mean time. If they make a simple post on steam with known bugs i could have looked it up myself.
It's the laser that messes with the silencer not the other attachments.
This was told directly by a dev, see my point?
once those two come out, this game in its current state? nah
i love the game, but come on, theres no denying the blow entrada is gonna take when they hit early access
Dang, I totally forgot no one makes mistakes. Guess where I learned it was more recent knowlege that it's actually only the sight? Discord.
There is one thing its got going for it. Mutants rather than Zombies. The whole premise of the game is set in an almost fallout like world, so why do they focus on making it more like a battle royal type thing lately? Unlike Zombies post apocalyptic survival games haven't been done to death, mind the pun.
My hat does go off to Entrada i just dont see Miscreated lasting into 2019, and if the Fun Pimps dont get their act together 7days will flatline as well. Competition is always good maybe it'll be what Entrada needs to really push through new content. It is afterall Christmas soon, a time to rethink ideas and make plans.
