FPS Drop When Opening The Inventory
Hello!

I have recently bought a new monitor (1440p, 144hz, G-Sync, IPS) to fully enjoy Miscreated. Now, every time I open my inventory, the frame rate drops for a short moment (with and without G-Sync) which causes a lag. Does anyone else experience this?

It is definately not a serious problem, however, the frame drop is enormous (e.g. from 80 to 60). I did some further tests: there is only a noticable lag, if I join a server and open the inventory for the first time(s).

I have had a cheap 1080p 60hz monitor before. Maybe I did not realize this issue or it did not bother me.

I have not changed my settings (except for turning off SGSSAA, but this is not important).

My specs: GTX1080, i7-7700, 16GB RAM, SSD.
Ingame settings: Very High.

The higher resolution will demand more on your system. That might be what you're feeling.

Are you talking about the massive frame fluctuations while gaming (you will not notice any severe lags with a high-end system and/or G-Sync) or the aformentioned single frame drop - sometimes combined with a lag - when opening the inventory?

It is much better now. There is only a very small FPS drop (~2-4). Great!

I cheered too soon...

I have not played the game for a few days. Today, I noticed, as before, that there is a considerable frame drop everytime I open the inventory.

Have you turned off V-Sync in the in-game settings? Be aware you need to turn that option of in all games for G-sync to do its thing. Might be in part whats causing this. Just from my experience.

Yes, V-Sync is turned off, both in the in-game settings and in the Nvidia CP.
