So I've been going for the Perfect run

I do love this game but a few things with this patch is bugging me. I'm going to a perfect run. The new portals are kind of screwing me particularly the dash one that reduces dash to 1. Basically it's a run ender if I get it. I can't beat shredder if I get it. Which is rather frustrating to try to RNG not getting that portal. It seems unfair to be going through the hardest challenge in the game to just make it harder in one patch. Any advice would be helpful.

Your best bet would be to go Mikey with Don's Shield tool, can get CD speed to where it's constantly up basically making you invincible, no need to dodge for e.g, Bright Spring (Water / Astral Light) Water: Splash Damage Astral Light: Daybreak or Light Embrace in order to get HP on hit

I got 2 perfect runs tonight using Casey and neither counted for the achievement. Don't know if it's bugged, or you have to use a Turtle to get it.

I'll have to give that a try. I was doing a run as raph last night. It was going well I had a super crits build. Then lead feet showed up im like whelp this is done.

I'm not sure. Would likely need clarification from devs. I'm also not sure if the new portals are even required for it.

We have confirmed that there is currently a bug for the Perfection achievement not being granted when it should and are actively working on a fix for it.

In some cases. Lot of people already unlocked it normally as intended.
Probably is the Casey problem with it.
And the artifact that require to beat one time the new miniboss also wont unlock.

2 - I did it solo

You can also do this achivement playing on Easy mode instead of the default Normal.

If that is to your liking. Makes it a lot easier.

Post DLC appears to be where its bugged. I have a feeling its from the DLC content. I didnt use Casey or go to the DLC area but I did some of his inspirations.

maybe uncheck the dlc on library (to disinstall it) helps to resolve this.
