Any Update Of Physical Edition?

I've been waiting to pick this game up in hopes that a Switch physical version is released. Has there been any update on it? I thought it was rumored.
If it's not going to happen, I'd prefer the devs just come out and say "it's not happening" so I can decide to buy it here on Steam.
