Some artifacts not working?
Anyone else having issues with the skill selection artifacts not working? just about the only time I can get them to work is for the very first skill selection of the run.

After that, when I switch out in the Chairman shop it doesn't seem to force the wanted skill tree on the next selection. This makes it tougher to trigger wanted master skills, and it's driving me a little nuts.

Makes me wonder if any of the artifact bonuses work at all

I've only been able to get the power-focused artifacts to work reliably on stages 1 and 3. I wonder if it has something to do with the game doling out Masteries at the start of 2 and that conflicting. If you've ever opened a shop and been greeted with DOUBLE SELECTION (which you don't actually get) you'll know what I mean; The game doesn't seem to order things right when it comes to powers.

They don't work all the time, I think a maxed out artifact gives you like a 22.5% chance to have that elemental type show up AND give it a double selection... it's really oddly worded.

Either that or it's every OTHER choice... so like, I did a run with the flame amulet on and the first choice was flame, but the second choice wasn't... then I got to choose flame again... I managed to get the crit hit damage and chance abilities, which are the two best abilities you can probably get in the entire game but yeah... The game is kind of jank when it comes to all the behind the scenes math going on.

Maybe your interpretation is the way it should work, then.

From my understanding, the way it's supposed to work is:

!00% forced skill tree selection on next offering
22.5% chance to double select on said offering.

Once it does either of these things, it's done/burnt out for the run.

That's how any artifact of this type works in every roguelite I've played.

I'm looking this up because I'm midway through a run with the Ooze artifact equipped. Just beat Karai and I've picked up skills at every opportunity, but I've only seen options for flame, ninja, and Astral. This is most certainly bugged.
