Perfect run is a win with all shimmering portals, hard mode bosses and War Staff equipped.
Unless it's changed, the achievement won't pop until after you finish the fight. It's a little stressful because you're trying to headcount while also dodging, but generally speaking if you don't kill any rats and just run around, it should happen naturally.
Got it two days ago. Actually did it back to back cause a buddy needed help getting it. Thank though!
If you get portal of rarity or the one with shop prices doubled before Karai, might be best to restart again.
Mikey with Bright Springs makes it very easy. Or any turtles with a good shuriken build will be fine.
Not sure I've ever seen bright springs, what does it do? I've been toughing it out with Raphael with 120%+ tool recharge and tough shell. Almost there! Hard to be picky when you are stuck with the staff though the whole run :(

To answer your question.
It's pretty much the best legendary in the game when used with Mikey. Regain 2 health per attack hit.
When paired with daybreak, some other damage reduction skills and dodge buffs, you can pretty much tank most enemies in the game by just standing in their face... So long as you dash out of their biggest attacks.
You can get it by going Astral/Light + Water skill trees.
I've had a run where I got Bright springs + Frostfire and it was absolutely ridiculous. I would not be surprised if the other online players I was on the run with thought I had a cheat activated. It was kinda hilarious.
My skills were something like this:
Water attacks
Torrential strikes
Heavy rain
Frost
Freeze
Flame special
incendiary strikes
inferno
Shimmering light + reflect
daybreak
Light attack
-2.5% damage per Astral skill
Bright springs (2 health regain per attack hit)
Frostfire (30% additional damage of opposing element when using water or fire)
+60% critical hit chance (I forget the skill name)
+180% critical hit damage (forget the skill name)
I'm sure there were more, but that's what I can remember off the top of my head. I got so many double selects and double upgrades on that run, lol.
