Anyone else find this incredibly easy?
Not really a complaint, more an observation here. There should be roguelites geared towards people that don't want a punishing style game, but...

It feels REALLY easy, even with the limited skills and ability to upgrade them. Yes, I've put it on challenge mode... It didn't feel much different than story mode.

Also... Finding Mike and Raph to be the clear winners over Leo and Donny.

Maybe I've been spoiled by Hades/Hades 2 and Dreamscaper, but this also feels a little vanilla or same(ish) across all characters. Was hoping for more playstyle variety across weapons, abilities, etc. Every character pretty much feels the same, so it's really just a matter of DPS.

I know it's just a demo and maybe I'll eat my words in the full release, but it feels like I could beat this on the 1st playthrough if I bought it. I almost never get hit.

I beat the heck outa this game on switch, the base run like the dev said is just the start, challenge mode ran me threw the ringer.

No. The difficulty seems fine IMO.

Without spoiling anything for (newer) people who look at this, enemies seem to scale up in a hurry (as the dev hinted), and I've yet to finish a run in solo.

There's definitely some OP items in this game, and co-op RLY makes things easier, but I'd personally appreciate it if people didn't start talking balance until more people try the Steam version (for instance, my Deck runs great, except for occasional .5-1 sec lagspikes that definitely... add some difficulty of their own lol)

It gets more difficult when you are doing challenge portals with 4 people. Also, Donnie is the most broken turtle there is. His tool and special are absolutely amazing. I beat Shredder in a 4 man where everyone was dead and didn't get hit once due to my dodges and his tool. His tool is the only thing keeping me from dying and able to carry my dead turtle brothers through challenge bosses lol. Also that range is nothing to scoff at when you are fighting Karai and the whole ground is fire except for a teeny tiny area.

yes, game is super boring

Yeah but it makes it accessible for me. I can recommend it to my friends who are afraid of rogue lites.

Not everything has to play like old arcade machines meant to eat your quarters.

Try doing all portals and all gauntlets. That was one of the hardest challenges I've ever faced in gaming. I've only done it once and with a very specific build. This game is NOT easy at all when you do the portals and gauntlets.

You ain't lying. It is rough taking all the portals. I get past Karai, but can't get past Bebop and Rocksteady. Still plugging away at it though.

Shurikens setup from ninja boons will basically remove all the challenge that portals and gauntlets bring though. They are pretty broken honestly once they get going and could use a nerf whilst many other things could use a buff.

I've played for several hours now and NO this is not easy. Using the demo as a judge seems to be very off. I have done around 8 runs and still haven't seen the last boss yet. The streets is a jump in difficulty that got me the first time, and the roofs are pretty tough as well.
