Just some questions
First and foremost, having a blast with the game, lots of fun. However I do have a few questions/concerns. Minor Spoilers included.

1. Should I bother with crafting?

Now I say this coming from the viewpoint that crafting to me is a huge chore in this game. Not only do I have to find the right components, I then have to manually put each individual piece in the contraption, which typically will make 1 piece out of the 10-50 total pieces I need to make the item I want. Most of my upgrades have been found just from killing random things, or finding them laying around on the ground, or in chests.

I just find the whole process of crafting to be overly tedious and for very little benefit when I could just as easily find an upgrade that's better in the closest area. Now perhaps this will become more beneficial for making ammunition later on? I do have a Plasma Rifle that I can't use because it requires a battery of some sort, so maybe crafting will help me there.

2. What's the difference between the other characters? Morgiana, Armored-ish Robin, etc.

While I enjoy Robin, I wanted to see what the other characters had to offer, so I unlocked the very first character you could and tried her out. On the surface she seems much weaker then Robin, but at the same time has the Shadow Backstab ability which is extremely useful. However my tactics while playing her, has pretty much been:
Engage enemy
Use Shadow Backstab
Not dead? Back off and reposition, or wait until pet grabs their attention and come back in

I'm guessing this is how she was meant to be played? As she can't really take any direct hits for too long.

3. Do the repeatable quests ever end?

I'm talking about the Soil and Fisherman quests of course. I'm guessing they never end so you always have a source of income, but was just curious if there was some grand reward for completing a certain amount, or if they actually eventually ended. I'm not that far into the game yet, as I've been trying out the Endless mode to unlock other characters.

4. How can you tell if a weapon will attack twice? & When should I upgrade a weapon?

I've come across a few weapons that will attack twice in quick succession, and when dual wielded with another weapon that attacks twice, I actually attack 4 times, which is awesome. However without actually equipping these weapons and testing them myself, I don't know if they will attack twice just by looking at them. Is there some specific stat I should be looking at, or mostly just trial and error?

Also when you do get a weapon that attacks twice, how do you know when to upgrade to a better weapon? Let's assume your current weapon has 10 str, 10 slashing, and 10 piercing (just a hypothetical), and it attacks twice. Now you get a new weapon with 15 str, 15 slashing, and 15 piercing, but only attacks once. Would you bother upgrading to the new weapon, or keep your 2x attack weapon? I tried searching the forums for more info on weapons and when to upgrade, but all I found were what the stats mean.

If anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.

Crafting - I only play survival modes, and I can say for a fact it is not worth it there. Maybe it's better in story? Don't know.

Characters - Robin and Morgana start with different stuff and the stat growth seems to be a little different. Later characters, like the sheep, spawn with less equippable slots. Or in the skeleton's case, he can eat a shovel for full heal.

Quest - I don't play story, no input
Double attack - There is no way to know without using it, it is not displayed

When to upgrade - No input

crafting pretty pointless in all modes you can get lots of equips just lay around dungeons or buy from the merchant hooded guy. the craft system is just so bad it makes you want to not use it!

repeatable quest never end so keep doing the scientist guys quest to grind and get good equips.

axe and daggers usually are double atk weapons. however note more Attacks don't always mean more dmg. weapons that increase your ST will do a lot more dmg than a weapon that lets you atk twice usually. also some monsters are immune to some attacks so if you have a weapon that gives you high pierce but you attack a monster that is immune to it you will do very little dmg to it. always try to get a good balance of all attack types don't focus on just one!

i usually upgrade weapons that give you ST.
