Question for the devs, or anyone who has recruited said character: After Lena betrays you and you have to fight her, is it scripted that she dies like Fidel, or can you spare her during combat and keep her in your party?

I am not there yet. To hear that another follower will go the way of Fidel makes this game so uninteresting to me.

I was wondering if you need to fight her at all? Earlier I killed some smugglers, and later with her in the party you go get a truck from that area. Turns out you killed her brother.

I can't remember if I needed anything there to progress earlier, or if I just found them while exploring the map. Is it optional to avoid those smugglers and the plot changes? Are they all dead anyway but it wasn't your fault and she stays?

I skipped investigating him. Still got stuck with the fight because she noticed.

Also do not spend medikits on Fidel, they raise your max hp by 5 per use
