Help! I messed-up in Iztali Point

I made it to the very last location, where I could read the last poem and pick up the last rune. But before doing that, I decided to explore the area off to the left. I ended up stepping on the platform over there, and got transported back to the Guardian area (the hub). I re-opened the doorway to Iztali, but quickly realized that everything seemed reset. Is there any way for me to get back to the end of Iztali, without having to solve all the puzzles again? Thanks for reading.

If I remember correctly, you do not lose anything that you previously collected, but you do have to retrace your steps to progress through that world.

I think that I did the same thing in Nahele Rain in my run-through yesterday and today, on learning sometime during Hyaku Lake that there was a “Progress” menu button. Checking it, I saw that I’d collected everything except the last rune in Nahele Rain; so I’m assuming that it only appears after reading the last poem, and that I dashed off too quickly after doing so.

After wrapping the desert level, I returned to Nahele Rain expecting to have to run through the whole thing again, but was thrilled to find that the rune revealed itself on reading the first poem. I assume that this is a special case for the final poem-triggered rune; and that puzzle-locked runes would require a run-through.
