After putting my heart and soul into the final Akaksa Steps trial, I stepped onto the portal, then saved and exited. When I went back I was not at the credits section but back at the pool as if I'd never started the steps at all.

Can I get a save game file to put me back in place?

Looks like we never caught this! I'll look into this asap. Unfortunately, I don't have a good way to give you a save file as the game never expects you to save there, thus in the current version there is nothing that will let a save file load back into that particular area. However, I've got a workaround for you.

Since you actually completed the final level (and thus got the "you completed the level" flag saved) you could simply open the actual map for the next section without consequence. Here are the steps to do so:

First, open your save file you've been playing on (the one that put you back to the pool). Once that loads, open the developer console with the "Scroll Lock" key on your keyboard. Type "Open Load_Credits" and press enter. This should put you exactly where you were with your own save file.

Thanks for your help. I think its interesting you said the game doesn't expect you to save there. My logic was, 'I'll make sure I save AFTER the portal as that will make sure it saves the game in the next area properly.'

I've tried that but unfortunately it just takes me back to the main menu

It should autocomplete as you type it in, is it doing that? Remember not to use the quotes and to use the underscore in the map name.

Yes I typed it correctly, but it did not autocomplete.
