Post Credits Question

I just saw the credits roll, and there was a message about a new island... where is it? I don't see it anywhere on the map.

I think it's just lore regarding what happened to the people living in the main city between the "past" whwre the city is normal and the "present" where it's destroyed.
It's basically a very Nintendo-y thing to do, they're confirming no-one actually died.

It also leaves DLC on the table...

According to the story Ren couldn't stop the bad guy in the past and the kingdom was destroyed. At the end of the story we know they evacuated so that although the kingdom is destroyed no one dies and she puts her pet dragon to sleep for a 1000 years. Then present starts and you time travel, things of the game happen and you prepare to fight the bad guy which was resurrected by a crow and is preparing to make another world reset. You stop him, but in the past the kingdom is still destroyed because Ren didn't stop him. But how do you explain that all the people are still there even though they should have evacuated during the end of the story and there should be a huge hole in the middle of the kingdom? The game explains it by saying that they managed to find another dimension with the same island where nothing bad happened and so you continue being able to travel to the past without any changes there.

Oh... bummer. I was hoping for another island. I guess I completely misunderstood what it was trying to say. Thank you!
