Do you have a dx12 compatible GPU and using Windows 11 or something?
Because UE5 games are pretty picky about the hardware you run them on, the only way to not run them on said hardware is to use dx11 modes or something, but EAC will 100% halt you from trying to do things like DXVK vulkan mods for dx11 so you can run the game on older GPUs.
List your hardware specs, and maybe run a check on your system for OS corruption?
Open cmd.exe as administrator and type "sfc /scannow" and it'll check the integrity of your operating system.
its because EAC initializes and then waits that the game starts.
if this needs too long, even if the game manages to start will it:
-close in an instant without any error message
-you get an access violation
-you get the nfl shipping executable error.
all 3 are related to EAC waiting too long and closed itself which causes that the game gets halted, resulting into these crashes.
the solutuion is easy.
you get a better PC, so the game gets started up in a timely manner.
or
you remove EAC (there are tricks for this which i wont write down here since mods "can" poke peoples for it) however, removing EAC may results into no more crashes but you wont be able to play online with friends.
i have a bit older PC (about 5 years old) and when i start the game crashes it usually once because of the inpatience of EAC but, then it works after with the 2nd try.
that your game crashes on the start menu has then other reasons. probably things like fusion already mentitioned.
fact is; your game will crash on startup to 100% if your PC needs too long to initialize fantasy life i after EAC says on the bottom right "waiting for game." if your PC needs longer then about 20 seconds to launch fantasy life i will it mostlikely crash due to EAC shutting down because it thinks there is no game. so, you need to try again until your PC manages to start fantasy life i within EAC´s patience XD.
Honestly windows has been having major issues the last 2 weeks with their updates and it could totally be them. They have had to push out 2 emergency updates my husbands PC blue screened right after updating windows so sometimes it's not hardware and just crappy Windows.
The game crashes on start up for me and then sometimes 3 to 4 times after I launch it has UE5 crashing error's and this didn't start for me til their recent update or windows. I am able to play eventually though.
Click on the Windows Start button, then click on Settings (the gear icon). In the Settings menu, click on System. Scroll down and click on About
That will have all your specs in there you could list.
Same error "No boot drive found" and being told to select a new one
