Consider allowing the novice profession to upgrade

Have you considered allowing the novice profession to upgrade or have a professional mission or something like that??
Otherwise, I really don’t know the meaning of this profession

The brand new adventurer only exists to allow people who pick gathering or crafting lives first, to have a default combat live when they run into creatures when out in the world.

I agree that it would be a fun addition for Brand New to have progression, like as a post-game thing would've been nice

How could the king accuse you for not having a Life if it would actually count as a Life? It only exists since it's required to be able to fight during the story, just in case you don't get a combat life.

They should rename it to "Archaeologist" and would actually be lore accurate as to why it can't rank up and would explain why the king can't recognize it.

I actually thought we will rank it up eventually to that and will be able to search all those mounds of dirt all over the place for a treasure. When I arrived to Ginormosia for the first time and noticed haniwa nodes all over the place I thought I confirmed that archaeologist will be a thing, but then found out that those are just nodes for the miner and lost any hope for that.

Yeah, was disappointed when I found you can get its own weapon all the way to 5 star, but it has no Life skill tree to level up.
