Steam Cloud Upload issues

I’ve been switching back and forth between my PC and my Legion Go to play this game, and I’ve noticed in the last few days that the times for save uploads and downloads from the cloud have been increasing every time I switch to the other system.
Today, I’ve been trying to boot it up on my PC and getting alerts that the cloud save hasn’t been uploaded, and fiddling with the Legion for another hour which has been stuck on the “Cloud Status: Uploading” for at least forty minutes. Very frustrating when I want to just relax and open up my game at the end of the night, and now it’s taking so long I can’t even launch the game on either system.

Does anybody have any info on how to expedite the upload process or what could be preventing/slowing it down so much?
