Re: Quest Recipes hidden behind Buddies

I might be in the minority here, but locking some recipes that are required for completing Side Quests is an extremely diabolical and moronic move.

Anyone else having issues getting certain recipes because of this, and is there any chance of someone knowing how to force Buddies to give the recipes?

It's not even a remotely new or rare concept. It's not my favorite but the game is a life sim. Relationships factor here.

I understand that, completely.
But it's the issue with it being quest related that's what's got me. I'm all for and fine with other recipes being behind interacting with your Buddies, just not when said recipes are required for Side quest progression. :(

There's a side quest that asks for 5 "Giant Fried Egg +", a recipe I don't have whatsoever and everything I've found about it says it's from a random Buddy.

I wish they'd at least add the recipe to the relationship screen together with the friendship bonuses, because having to guess if they'll give you one feels...not good
