I think both can enjoy it tho i think kids dont really enjoy games like that anymore these days. Maybe watch a little gameplay if you are unsure. Tho the game unravels itself after some hours and you unlock more things to do and explore.

I'm 35 and been enjoying the game. I played the original Fantasy Life on the 3ds back in the day and loved it. So, it's been wonderful. I do think it can equally be enjoyed by both kiddos and adults.

There is quite a bit to do. I've not even finished the story, but I have heard if you steam roll the story it's like maybe 20 hours. I've been doing a lot of side quests and just leveling while I listen to an audio book. :mhwgood:

definitely a kids game
the "endgame" is very shallow grinding and the base building is extremely limited + no real townspeople interactions

its for kids, we are all kids inside
It's cozy like a Saturday morning cartoon. It's light hearted but fun. And there's grind and variety if you want to pursue it.

Worrying if a videogame is 'for kids' is a something only kids do. What actually matters is if you personally find it fun.
