where do we mine sapphire from ?

Sapphire is a rare drop from some ore nodes. The best wy to find thm is to set the quest as your active quest, then it will highlight all nodes that can drop a sapphire. Especially useful on the huge continent as there are many different nodes present there. Otherwise you have to first be able to find an area where the right nodes actually exist.

Platinum Deposits drop them, aim for Great Platinum Deposits.

My islanders usually give me Ruby , Shaphire, specially the miners. Probably is just a coincidence.

platinum definetely one, even if you not hitting the great or amazing one if you can do excellent it will have a chance to drop

Go to the Molten Wastes in Gino and crank the area rating until you get great+ platinum ores.
