Any tips on finding phantoms in Ginormosia?

I’ve been trying to find them to recruit for the achievement but I’ve only seen 4 so far. Anyone have any tips to finding these things?

If it's just for the achievement, you can recruit the same person over and over and they seem to always be in the same place. So once you've found one, you can keep coming back there to recruit them.

I’ll try that after finding my next one. Every time I recruit them they join the party and disappear, do you just not invite them to the party?

When you revert a strangeling, they stop spawning for that phantom it seems.

All phantoms has specific locations and the type of npc spawned correlates with the node. A woodcutting node is by a tree, and always spawns a woodcutting phantom for instance. But if you revert all woodcutting strangelings, you stop finding the phantoms?

Honestly, I've found most, if not all of my Strangeling Phantoms near either campfires, or by the Monster villages just right outside of them.

One that comes to mind is the Panther village near the Volcano. Has a cook, and a Blacksmith both sitting outside.

And @dr46onfusion- The phantoms do not stop spawning once you revert them. I have the Cook with the blond hair, and chef suit (Alan or w/e his name is), and he is still one of the Phantoms that spawn right outside of the monster village by the volcano (for me at least).

Oh that’s good to know that you can still revert them. Was my worry and why I hadn’t reverted several, didn’t want to soft lock myself out of the achievement.

I managed to find two outside of a monster camp but couldn’t figure out how to get them to not disappear after talking to them. I’m guessing putting them into my party was what made it happen. After finding the two I wasn’t able to find any others, felt time gated. Even tried changing times, resting, restarting my game. Never could find two more after the initial two.

They don't stop. They keep spawning.

You will find them eventually just by playing on that map. Don't focus on it. When you will be leveling zones and collecting money from vegetable stands you will meet a lot of them just standing around near settlements (my top zone is level 4 and I already got the achievement without hunting them). Invite them into party and they give you extra exp until they go away.
