And yes, there are dungeons. And there is also a big open world with enemies and gathering spots everywhere. Well, 2 open worlds, one huge continent where you can freely roam around and one group of islands which you slowly unlock via the story. And then you also have you own little island that you can freely customize by changing terrain and placing buildings and decorations. you also get to rescue people who will then become residents of your island village.
but well, in the end you can do whatever you want to do. For the story alone you just need to do a bit of combat, so most of the whole Life leveling and ranking up is purely optional. And you can also mostly ignore the huge continent for most of the time as the stoy mostly focuses on those islands.
It has similar vibes and it's really repayable.
And yes, aside of the main story you can spend lots of time!
