How do I trigger Ginormosia Legendary Material spawns?
I just.. don't understand how this system works. I have of these events to go to that basically reward nothing useful, but even though basically all my areas are level 4 I still only very rarely ever even see a legendary item spawn.

I can't make my upgraded weapons to delve deeper into the treasure Dungeon because the mobs are rapidly outpacing my gear, but I can't make the gear without these legendary materials, it also doesn't help it's random so I can't even target the materials I want.

Also some of the requests this NPCs require are ridiculous for the amount of points you get for clearing it.

Here's what I ended up doing because I was getting mad about that myself. Took a bit to get set up but if you don't want to grind out Item Drop + gear you can skip the first paragraph lol

Unlock remake on the crafters you need for armor (blacksmith and tailor for sure). Grind out max rank for Marco's store in your island guild. Get the Trip applique because it gives Item Drop + (5% with a rare chance of getting 10%). Turn in everything you can for redux stones. Craft the best armor you can and make sure to attach the Trip applique. Then immediately remake that piece of armor with another Trip applique until both skill slots are slotted with Item Drop +. Rinse and repeat until you have an entire set crafted. This works for both combat AND gathering classes and you'll end up swimming with materials. Not even joking. Especially useful for the harder to find gathering nodes so you don't have to hunt down as many.

You can skip all of that entirely but it'll speed up the process massively. Now you'll want to head to Warren Willow Hollow B1 in the capital map. Slay all of the shadow mobs up until the 3 silver crown panthers. Run back up the stairs. Turn around and do it again. And again. And again. They'll drop both dark fire and the recipe tablets you give to Edward which can give you weapons and armor that are even more powerful than the Time gear and base level 5 crafted gear. You'll want to grind out 50 dark fires to unseal the room in B1 because there's even more shadow mobs to kill and a dark bark tree and magic ore node that respawn every time you go up the stairs and return. If you have Item Drop + on everything it shouldn't take long to get a stockpile and you'll have a ton of equipment to turn in for redux stones or to sell for dosh.

Now if only the stupid tablets would drop the staff because I have everything else I need...

I appreciate the tips. I was frustrated with teh Dark flames because I've opened a few doors only to get like.. awful consumables (Like baby level consumables) and some while nice, not immediately useful decoration patterns.

Trying to grind Treasure Plants for magic ore has been a pain. @_@

I suggest after you kill the 3 silver crown panthers, save and back to title screen and back in. everything will respawn then run back to stair and kill all of them again. exit stair and back in kill all of them to the 3 silver crown panthers then save and return to title screen and back in.

and for Ginormosia system. for co-op you have to fill the event bar to spawn a legendary node 3 times. for solo you need to do the event untill it spawn and i think it is random legendary gathering node or boss.
It just occured to me the dark fires and slates drop from any shadow mob once you're in post game so the best place to grind them out would be Fort Gardhart in Ginomorsia since that's the only mob type that spawns.

I just tested it out in a closed solo online session. Easily doable since everything scales to the number of players and guaranteed to spawn the legendary nodes HOWEVER you need rank 3 in a zone for its legendary node to spawn and when you fill up the bar it randomly chooses one to spawn so you can't grind out any specific node.

Edit: I would make sure to set each zone rank to 3 before doing this if any of them are higher. It makes it easier to fly through the area challenges and the legendary nodes and bosses aren't affected since everything spawns at 60+ anyway.

All my zones are rank 3, or in some cases Rank 4.

I just haven't been able to get the nods to spawn @_@

Just create an online session and password protect it so you go in solo. You can get 5-6 nodes to spawn within in the 60 minute timer. I just go around hitting every single event to fill up the bar and spawn the legendaries and I've been getting crazy tower experience so now everything is rank 5 lol

Hitting rank 5 is nice because each zone starts spawning the bosses from the past so you don't have to run an entire dungeon to find and kill them. It also spawns more of the silver crown mini bosses and there's definitely more to do to rack up items and experience.

I am frustrated with the dark fire grind. I plowed through the story just trying to find a way to open the seals and it doesn't seem like there's a way to improve the number of drops to something reasonable. Ranking up the area for gardhart did nothing in that regard.

Sounds like you might like the update that is planned to be released today (or tomorrow depending on the time zone)

just switch between rank 7 to 6 or 6 to 5 in your tower, legend will spawn

also do the teleport gate trick in the menu, and wander around mysteria for 5 minutes, it should also reset if you already save the door spot there
