Actual Honest Gender/Pronoun Question

How does the game actually determine your Pronouns if there is no Selector?

I just want to be called a girl. idc about the "femininity" of the clothes or w.e

I've seen a few odd answers to this that just leave me more confused.

It doesn't. The game largely uses "They" but slips up sometimes and does he/sir/etc. Seems to be a general translation mistake.

But for the most part it just uses they, which IMO is just as bad as not having a choice, but it's whatever.

"gentlemanly, maidenly and mysterious" I say they are bugged because apparently dataminers have found female versions of outfits but they never appear or trigger (most likely they should appear on a character that selected "maidenly". currently they do nothing.

ah thanks, I'll be waiting for a sale then. nothing irks me more than lazy pronoun usage. Makes me think most of the translation is likely done by AI.

I wont play until its fixed or theres a mod. the most i expect out of games like this is to be called by my damn pronouns lol. and I mean that in the absolute most non Anti-Woke/Woke way.

there is no way the translation was done by AI, it's way too well done and perfect.

I dont think this is a translation issue, I think it's a bug honestly. and I personally agree as well. it's super lazy if this isnt a bug to not use 3 different scripts for the few places it matters. whats crazy is Level5 in the past has been *amazing* about this as well doing a great job at having 2 interesting unique ways you are referred to, yokai watch even had whole different set of sub plots making both have a reason to be played to see if you care

Imagine being bothered by people wanting to be referred to by their preferred pronouns when it's deadass easy to include dialogue that has variable pronouns, as evidenced by the numerous games over the years that have included it.
