Game Crashes alot

i looked in the forums and alot of people are experiencing these weird crashes.

I hope they fix it.

Every 10 minutes..
Tried verifying game files ,updating gpu drivers, run as admin, launch option -dx11, capping FPS..
I'm lost

my crashes stopped after making this thread. i think it only happens at the start of the game when you reach the island for the first few minutes. havent had a crash since.

Probably going to sound silly but sometimes restarting your PC helps. I've had a few games where I had to either restart Steam or restart my PC after installing.

Lol I feel that. My first run I was trying to juggle all of them. This time I am trying Woodcutter only but it's proving to be quite the challenge. (I know it gets easier later on with more buddies and better gear though)

I've been playing since early access and haven't had a single crash yet. It failed to launch once when I was messing with Engine.ini(may be unrelated), but hasn't since.

If you have a 13th or 14th gen intel it causes crashing issues with EAC.

You may need to cap the active cores to 52x(you can use intel xtu).
In intel XTU go to advanced tuning under Performance Active Core Tuning set all the active cores to 52x, and save it as a profile named anything other than Default.
Then go to profiles, select the one you just made, push the show values button, apply should light up yellow(push it) or it will tell you it's already been applied(more likely the first time).

You need to launch xtu whenever you restart your pc and apply the profile.

The side benefit is your cpu will run cooler.

I'm having the same crashing issues, specifically when approaching a grouping of three white woolies as a magician. First time it happened I lost all of the time I spent emptying the first half of the area of materials (killing all mobs, mining, fishing and woodcutting all nodes), and now it happens every single time I approach them. I'll return if restarting everything again helps :D

I've had to restart my computer from time to time, not from crashes but from multiplayer issues, hope the rest of the game goes smoothly for you ^^

I'm now crashing whenever I enter Ginormosia, no other locations.

that's like 33% of the game I'm locked out of.

I'm crashing any time I change zones now.. not sure what is up but entering caves and such in ginormosia I crash XD Seems to be related to loading things is my guess.

apparently the game has a bad memory leak, the same thing happens to me with Diablo 4, the longer you play the worse it gets until the game crashes, hopefully Level 5 fixes it soon, im getting tired of losing alot of progress and have to redo it.
