Brand new / no life class

Is there any point in lvling this life? I got it to about lvl 12 but if its pointless then I'll stop. I find it odd if it is pointless why is there better sticks to use.

Since they removed daggers, it’s the only way to win some fights in the later stages of the game if you are a gatherer/crafter focused player.

The reason being your AI teammates wont attack anything until you attack it. Then you are stuck as that class and will get exp for it lol.

Could be neat for a challenge run - but otherwise it's just there for anyone who doesn't pick up a combat life, since the equip screen is now by life and main hand is now locked by life.

no point. it can level and you can upgrade it's weapon to make the game possible if you dont pick a combat class. They probably did this specifically because people like to do challenge runs in one way or another. you will never use it otherwise (most likely)

I am pretty sure it is there so that way if you pick a job that's not fighting at the start you can still use weapons. Cuz you have to have one of the fighting jobs for any of the like big weapons.

I was just thinking about it and it would be cool if the brand new could turn into either a melee class or a rouge class using daggers as mentioned above. I'm just leveling up brand new cuz fk it why not

as a sidenote btw yeah you can level it to 100 and there are other sticks you can eventually get for it other then just the base one you can actually get a cherry stick weapon to drop from the cherry tree boss on the second island in the past it has like 200 or so attack stat or somthing
