Anyone know a trick to stop the rain?

I know, it's a stupid minor thing to complain about, but when it rains in game, it rains everywhere. In the past and present simultaneously. Which not only makes no sense, but isn't even necessary as the only gameplay effect rain has is in the present.

I tried sleeping at an inn, travelling to different locations, quitting the game and coming back. Nothing. It seems to be influenced by IRL time with no way to call it off.

I was about to go to the Tropica Islands for the first time in the story, and well, what better way to introduce a classic tropical area just like Port Puerto by having it %&*ing rain while characters are wonderstruck by the place.

It's a stupid minor thing, but I feel having something as silly as random weather ruin immersion is something that a player should be able to stop.

I didn't even know the weather could change. I've only had sunny weather my whole playthrough so I can't help you.
