Worth the $60?
Figured I'd ask, for those that have bought it would you say the game is worth the $60 price tag? For me gameplay is far more important than graphics so it being a 3DS game updated and ported to PC isn't a big deal. I have no doubts that it's a good game, I've played titles by Level 5 in the past and enjoyed them. The game also looks a lot like Snack World on the Switch which I also enjoyed so I'm sure I'll like this game too especially being open world. However I'm having doubts about price and debating to wait until it gets a price drop, possibly during the summer or fall sale Steam usually does. Still, if it's well worth the cost I'll reconsider that plan.

My concerns are on replayability and duration if one were to go at their own pace, exploring and designing the island to your tastes.

Thanks!

This is a new game. A sequel to the original. It is not ported over from 3DS.

It's a new game, with much more than the 3ds game

There's a lot of content, if you like games like animal crossing, ff14 jobs, dragon quest builders...
You unlock a huge open map and there's big dungeons to grind
Everything feels really polished too

If anything it's a port from a Nintendo Switch Game, which is a sequel to a 3DS game, but either way, it is a brand new game.

About the question if it's worth it, ti's probably always a bit subjective. And I am still rather early in the game, but so far I would think that both, quality and quantity wise it should be worth it.
I found Switch game very rare on sale unless you buy physical copy, like Zelda and Animal Crossing they are still about 60 USD.

I would say this game is more like Dragon Quest Builders 2, you can definitely spend a lot of time on grinding resources and build your island, and on top you can master all jobs as well, if you are into cute grinding game this one worth the price

YES it is. I own a million games and have not actually beaten one in ages. I get tired of games so quickly and choicer overload makes even picking a game to play hard. Fantasy Life is the cure for this.

If your worried about length, dont be lol. This game is absolutely HUGE. if you like the gameplay and what the game does you will have ATLEAST 100 hours in it. And if you really like to complete the game most likely even way more with the village building and open world.
Thanks for the helpful feedback everyone, since the game drops today guess I'll go ahead and get it anyway.
Game was worth the 90$ canadian deluxe I paid to play early.
