Any use for Applique?

Hi all,
I got some appliques with nice stats like "Critical Evasion skills are easier to receive"
from Skelegon Applique. Wonder how it can be of use?

I haven't gotten any yet but in the previous game, appliques were used by the Tailor to add buffs to the gear.

Tailor's Appliques are used to add extra stats/effects to equipament. And now we have Artist's Stickers too.

Appliques and stickers usage is unlocked from the skill tree, includes blacksmith and carpenter this time. From its wording it seems to just make it more likely that you'll get specific perks on the item instead of just rolling the entire pool
