I tried removing both of these and the save still shows up in game.
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Game
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\LEVEL5 Inc_
I couldn't find anything else anywhere. Looked through C:/ProgramData but nothing.
I'm just ready to refund now honestly. Better grab the switch version instead if changing player is this troublesome.
One day my kids will be big enough to create their accounts on their own but that will be another 5 or 6 years at least.
have you tried to move the save file called "002DAE74-00-gamedata.bin" out of it's folder from \Program Files (x86)\Steam\UserData\"yourID"\2993780\Remote\002DAE74-00-gamedata.bin
after that you can make a new save and just switch them whenever different person plays
honestly I wouldnt get the switch version, as you have to pay to upgrade to the switch 2 version if you ever get that, albeit its only another $2.50, imagine having to pay more for each of your games every time you upgrade your PC....
Through personal experimentation, this is the file path that worked for me.
I have sunk 60 hours into the game since I bought it and know that I'd like to stream it at some point. But am not willing to lose all the work I have put in, if Cloud save ♥♥♥♥♥ it up.
