Anyone know where this is? I found the wind crystal already, but I would have assumed after exploring this long I would have found fire first... Any hints would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if it's the one you're talking about, due to different languages and since I'm still in chapter 1, but west of the city, near the waters, is a cave and in there is a boss fish and an ore boss and that ore is very much a fire crystal. And since the cave isn't shown on the map until you entered it I guess it would be possible to miss it.

This cave actually has the only 2 big bosses I can even get to right now, since the corn enemy on the hill is more like a mini boss (I think) and the path over the river is blocked for me.

And yes it's in the cave west of Mysteria Capital.

The Wind Ore node is in the "Spirit Road" cave which is inside the well in Lulab Forest. This easiest way to get to it is to enter Lulab Forest from the left (west?) side of faraway Island which is the spirit peoples town.

Going to add onto this:
The Water Starcrystal is at Profunda Cave (the cave surrounded by Silver ore on the Tropica Isles)
And the Earth Starcrystal is predictably in the Cave of Trials (B2) on Swolean Island
