How to change to Hunter/Mercenary/Magician ?

You can switch your class in the menus, there's a option named lifes, select which one you want to play and when you draw the weapon it'll switch to that class

On my controller it was the right button on the d-pad. You want to select a different combat life and it'll default to that one whenever you swap to a non-combat life.

For anyone wondering, when using Keyboard, the button is "L". I recommend Magician or Hunter for the early SP restoration skill but any class will do just fine.

That's what I answered. I just added the keyboard control for further clarification. L brings up the Life Menu where you can switch classes freely, like Emu and Dehzittow said.

When you draw your weapon, it puts you into the last combat class you chose. So if you want to be Mercenary, manually change to Mercenary and then every time you draw, you'll be Mercenary. Switch to Hunter and then you will be Hunter when you draw.
