Report a translation problem
Weapons also do not appear to have magic affinity so I'm beyond confused. Has anyone figured this out...?
Nowhere in the tutorial did it say that
It just says enemy elemental attacks and resistance. It doesn't say the mage itself can change elements. You can look at the guide, and it's sorted. The magician stuff are at the bottom and elements are at the top. So they aren't linked to each other.
I believe it was mentioned in the classroom during the tutorial. But they also referenced the original game in having to make contracts with the spirits to gain the elements. But nowhere in the tutorial do you do that, which is why I am hoping it is only story progression locked, and we will have the capability later. I just haven't played far enough yet to find out if will be able to contract, then able switch between them before the end of the game...
