Chapter 5 mission 18 Delve deeper into depths stuck

maybe explore ginormosia, apparently more people to be found in shrines there. idk if those are available without a quest

the Island is still shrouded by the clouds? What am I missing?

if your stuck there you will be really stuck when you need 20 people to clear sum things on the block of land where you build your town.

if you need that many there will be a place where you get more people.

just make sure you house them all as you can have upto 5 people in your party.

So, I did get this past that mission pretty quickly while I was playing due to something I did earlier in the game. I would highly recommend going back to Ginormosia and doing some shrines. At that time of the game I would feel comfortable with two types of shrines due to not mentioning a stat recommendation. Keep in mind not all Strangelings come from these shrines and can be found in caves and can be dropped by enemies (I am not sure what the drop rates are though)
