Gamepad Controls missing/not working?

I've run into an issue where I've found that the left bumper is not working, I noticed it first in menus but it became even more apparent when I get to the point where I needed to use the mount in the desert. Pressing LB does nothing and even in the options menu many of the gamepad controls are just non existent. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions/solutions?

ETA: I found the issue! I had to disable the Steam Controller Inputs.

It unlocks a tiny bit into the game during the initial tutorial ^_^

Otherwise can I confirm I've played the game both with a 8bitdo Xbox style controller and a steamdeck and controls worked just fine for me

Definitely strange. Using a Microsoft official xbox x/s controller, tried it on both my PC and my husband's - I'm more than 3 hours in, I've made it to Ginormosia I just can't get on my mount (unless i use the keyboard). Everything else seems to work except LB.
