The 2nd-person-controls-the-bird nonsense is for local co-op/couch co-op.
4 players, 1hr session to do quests and legendary bosses.
In the video the legendary they got was a tree, but only 2 of the girls had the woodcutter's life, so they gave up on it. You also only had 25min to take down the legendary before it disappeared, so I guess you can do 2 in one session if you're efficient?
There was also a shot of the rest of the sessions/missions in the lists and there were some sessions that would tell you "anglers recommended" etc. The session they played was All lifes type. The map was really big and you're free to run around, climb cliffs, swim etc in the entire map. You can also do every job in there (mine/pick up stuff, fight, gather etc).
They also commented that they were leveling up a lot faster in the mp session so I'm guessing it's shared drops and exp so it might be nice either way to just hang out in a room and grind together.
What if I just want to help a friend with a farm or like grind something
