Nothing happening on hitting play

Is anyone else having issues just launching the game? I hit play and nothing happens. Ive let it sit for about 15 mins and still nothing. If i try to just run it through the game folder it works but it acts as if im not playing it on steam.

Nope. There may be some issues with your Microsoft framework or whatever. Try rebooting your pc.

same for me. I click play and nothing happens. task manger shows epic bootstrapper being open the moment I click, but that's about the only thing that happens. gonna try a pc restart

Yeah, either reboot your PC or flush the cahce of Steam. Just restarting Steam won't work.

I reset my computer, flushed the cache of steam, nothing works.

restarting didn't fix this for me. Though I went into the game folder and launched the NFL.exe and the game launched fine. I think whats happening is that steam is just trying to run the epicbootstrapper.exe, instead of the games actual .exe

yea ive tried all of that and still nothing. Ive gotten it to run by just launching the exe but steam doesn't say im playing and idk if its still registering achievements and using the cloud for saves. so im kinda wary of playing it that way

The play button isn't working for me either. It has me at 25 mins of play time because I kept trying to get the game to run. I was able to play the game after launching the EACLauncher, but because its not "via Steam", I am not getting any achievements and I don't think I was able to even unlock the preorder bonus yet either. Not sure what is going on :(

So idk if this was just a random thing but as soon as i hit play i went into task manager and ended epic bootstrapper and the EAC splash screen and then the main game instantly started. DIdnt test it a 2nd time cause im finally in the game and i dont wanna exit.

It will just ask you to install a bunch of stuff like epic.

best way to launch the game is to go to the game folder and launch the NFL.exe. problem is that I can't seem to use the online features and I get no achievements as the game doesn't integrate with steam this way.

Before the patch for ver.1.1.2, the game was working fine, but after the update, it stopped working after the Unti Cheat Check. Please fix this as soon as possible.

After running a file integrity check on Steam, the game started up normally again.

Update: My bf and I were finally able to get my game to run. It was from a previous Epic launcher file that we were having trouble deleting from when I played Wuthering Waves last (I pretty much quit all gacha games). He was able to get the files that were stuck from 2024 off of my pc and ran the game. It finally popped up and Im getting achievements. I have to start my file over because playing within the game files are gone now, but thats okay. Level 5 needs to never use Epic again after this. Its such a pain!
