Borderless not working
The game launches in windowed mode and when I put it to borderless it does detect my native 5120x1440 resolutions and also shows it in the settings. However the game still stays in windowed mode with a far worse resolution and the window (which is borderless) isn't even on top, so if I want to see the bottom I have to go into my taskbar settings and set it to automatically hide.

Is this a known issue that is going to get fixed asap? Or should I just go for a refund as this behavior if intended is unacceptable for this price-tag.

Also have the exact same issue.

Don't tack on any unnecessary time and wait 2 days to see what they say. The game just launched and got hit with all the specs under the sun, they probably need some time.

There isn't any CS rep or CM here though, so you'll be stuck with the advice of other users.

I have the same resolution as you and the game also refuse to go fullscreen or borderless
Having the same problem as well with the same resolution. It likely doesn't support 32:9 aspect ratio.
not sure if it'll help but i just seen someone had the same issue and were told to press f11, don't shoot the messenger tho, xD

Can tell you it doesn't work, it flickers and stretches out to full screen for less then a second to end back in windowed mode.

It does seem to support 21:9 ultrawide, which is already a small step forward for a lot of Japanese developers. As they were stuck on just 16:9 until very recently, and yes that also means Bandai Namco, Square Enix etc. And if they support 32:9 resolutions they mostly add just black bars to the side.

Have you tried -popupwindow?

Run the game in window mode, exit the game, right click the game on steam and put -popupwindow in the launch options.

ultrawide borderless works for me at 2560 x 1080
borderless does not work for me on a regular laptop monitor... similar issue with the setting flickering on for a moment then immediately reverting to windowed. Also seem to have issues with audio sync rate
I'm also having the same issue on a 4k monitor! I played it perfectly this afternoon on steam deck and then when I got home I swapped to my PC. Game always starts as windowed 1680x1050, and if I try to swap it to Borderless it does get bigger (and says 4096x2160) but clearly not full screen, with two open bars at the sides and the taskbar overlapping the bottom. There are no other resolution options to choose from.

I've tried F11, and adding -popupwindow to the launcher and neither does a thing.
