Special Block Usefulness
-------------------------------------
1. Nigel - Tiki Head - Quite effective whereever you put it.
2. Genie - Lamp - Been shown to be used to great effect.
3. OP - Shrine - Very useful special, but doesn't do anything as a block itself.
4. Tony - Turret - Too easily rushed, usually can't get good crossfire.
5. Eliza - Miasma Mine - Usable, could use buffing.
6. Sweet Science - Gravity Well - Alright, could probably get away with mines and glue though.
7. Sarge - C4 - Might as well use a bomb.
8. Cog - Mortar - Too easily found and destroyed, requires Tony on team.
9. Astarella - Orbital Beacon - We all know why.
Defensive (Primarily solo oriented)
--------------------------------------------------
1. Nigel - Can place plenty of cheap tikis, has traps, can see everything without radars, can stop bridging, can half kill enemies before they reach base, can find spawns, hide from enemies, gets heaps of points for team, can continue to help offence while defending with scan.
2. Tony - Only ahead of Eliza purely because of suicide rushing. Turrets hard to place effectively, very costly, map designs don't help, counters keep being added (EMP/Artifact). Decent instant damage weapon. Can't counter bridges. Has HP/Ammo.
3. Sweet Science - Can kill people very fast and through blocks, can pull away from blocks, very tough.
4. Eliza - Harder to hit with than Tony, and slower to kill suicide rushers. Has better survivability with gas and such.
5. Cog - Very powerful minigun if base set up right to utilise it. Too slow to leave base.
6. OP - Too fragile.
7. Genie - Little too fragile in a small space, would destroy own base.
8. Sarge - Depends on rockets to kill, would destroy own base.
9. Astarella - Mobility isn't as useful in an enclosed space, would destroy own base.
good at controlling mid.
moving around map and getting kills
1 v 1 ninja can beat all in a 1 v1 if they dont have any traps or teammates as backup
like those insane mlg snipers
Ninjas always goes for the kill so watch out XD

1. Tiki
2. Turret
3. Lamp
4. Shrine
5/6/7. C4, Mortar, Orbital Beacon: All of these are quite useful
8. Miasma mine: No clue why you rated this so high, barely does any damage, I personally never use them anymore
9. Gravity Well: What is this useful for? I guess you could place ONE at a time and make it a cheap mine, but otherwise they're useless
For OP it doesn't matter if he's fragile, when people are going for the base they usually don't focus on you. If they do you can just dodge or run away temporarily untill they go for the cube. You can do a lot of damage. Try a game with Ovidus defending, you'll see that a ninja defending can be OP (Only as support to the main defender though).
Astarella can actually do a lot of damage quite easily while defending. She is still bad, because she can't prevent people from getting to the cube, but as soon as they're on the cube Astarella is probably one of the best characters. People on the cube usually stay still, that's why it's extremely easy to both stomp and PPP for an insane amount of damage.
And yes, Astarella can do a lot of damage, especially to idle attackers, but that typically comes at the cost of destroying the blocks around your base if using stomp or saucers. Then as far as the PPP goes, it's really just about as effective as any other characters weapon. Saucers would be good for blocked in enemies I suppose. I have no problems placing her at 7 maybe.
Although Miasma damage isn't huge, it's enough support to make sure an enemy goes down if they stack around the cube. Orbital beacon is too easily blocked with a small pillar, and it pulls Astarella out of gameplay too use it while she digs.
There are many reasons C4 is still useful with big bombs in your loadout.
- C4 doesn't increase in price.
- C4 is faster to place, so you have less chance of being stopped half way through placing it.
- You can lay inside of C4.
- Sometimes you don't have 1200 blocks available, but you have do have at least 400.
Etc.
That usually doesn't happen. They are also cheap to replace if you have few of them.
I mentioned PPP only because you can combine it with stomping. Stomping is an AoE attack, so you can even use it against multiple enemies. PPP headshots are rapid 9 hits, which adds up really quickly.
She does destroy defence, but in many cases most traps have already been set off, and bricks around the cube are easily replaceable. When she does set off traps traps, if the traps are close enough to the enemies, the traps will still do damage.
If the miasma mine is used against one single person, it usually does about the same amount of damage as a fire trap. The fire trap however deals that damage instantly, which sometimes kills them before they reach the cube. The miasma takes time, in which enemies could damage the cube.
