Hi, I got the email about the steam keys, and thanks a lot for the extra key.
However I got, nearly an hour afterwards, 2 more keys in a second email, making a total of 4 keys.
I've only claimed one for me atm, and I was wondering if that's normal that I received 4? Are they additionnal extra keys? Or was it an error?

Edit: $35 pledge, "Two-fer" PAX Reward Tier is what I took.

That's normal. According to the latest Kickstarter email, they decided to double up on keys for backers, so the folks who pledged for single keys now get two, and the two-key packages are getting four.

Ah I see, makes sense. Thanks for the info!
Hey guys, fun looking game. Just a couple questions. Why can't I take over the station core to start a new one? Also, how do I rotate my ship. All my thrusters are letting me do is move, not rotate.

Use the bigger rockets for rotating, like activate one left and you will turn right. then deactivate it, wait until youre near the position and activate one on the right to stop the rotating. You can build 2 rockets in each direction, when you power up booth you can spin really fast(and maybe destroy your habitat?dont know, need to test it :jdhat:)...

/edit: and tested, yes...with enough rockets you can break it :jdcircle: atleast one side is completely broken and floated away <3 ...

Well this looks interesting.. nice one for bringing to Linux. I know this is different, but would love to see some Space Engineers features in this game. At least you guys have bothered to port to other platform.. well done! I'll be supporting this one.

Yes - if you are a normal backer you got an extra "buddy" key - so if you did the 2x tiers you got double :)

Quick question, if your habitat gets knocked off screen at a somewhat quick pace and you lose it, how do you find it again?

Edit: I guess i should say, if your ♥♥♥♥ gets blown up and you lose, how do you know if you've lost? Game said i still had modules connected, but i didn't have the little menu at the top right, the game kept going on as if nothing had happened, and i still had a 2 engineers listed (could only find one, connected to one lone module).

Sandbox is great, but I can't see an ability to save a game in progress?

first thing I notice is the lack of possibility to hotkey more then one thing to the same hotkey eg. putting all forward boosters on hotkey "1" weapons firing in the same direction on "2" and so on, also i noticed that sometimes when attaching new stuff they some times wobble around like crazy and blow up my habitat

Taking over enemy habitat is in our roadmap

We love-love-love the ability of Unity to easily port to different platforms, yes it still takes time and effort to support the other platforms but we think it is well worth it

You can click on the habitat number located on the upper right part of your screen to focus on the habitat. We are working on having more structure in the sandbox that will help with "lose" scenarios

We are looking forward to expanding and making the hotkey setup more robust down the road

Absolutely, if we could use Ctrl+Shift+number to add to a hotkey, that would be nice. Also, is it intended to be hellishly difficult to control? I find myself overrotating all the time. Another nice thing would be some kind of grid snap. I do my best, but my ships keep sliding all over the place since I am building them sligfhtly off center.

you'll have to finesse the booster rockets by turning them on/off and using counter thrusters to stabilize. Also if you can get the spheres or the busses they have thrusters that offer more control over delicate maneuvers.

Also spacebar is mapped to emergency stop which engages the habitat's inertial dampeners

yes, i feel it is almost impossible to center stuff when placing it, atleast you should be able to snap to the x/y axis of the habitat, then that would let us atleast fly in a stragiht line, as it would make it alot easier to properly place stuff ;)
That makes some sense, but if there was a better way to snap to right angles, it would take a lot of misery out. I keep building things that are SLIGHTLY off balance.
