I have done those already but still cannot play the game due to game froze up when I start a mission. If GeForce GTX 780M does not make this game work I don't know what does.
Hi,

All the best,
When I first bought the game last week and started it up, both the Passenger Ferry and Bulk Carrier missions would give me terrible framerates. I didn't even try the tug mission. Instead I went straight here to see if any one else had the same problem. As it turned out, a lot of Nvidia card users were having issues. So I decided to wait.
On release of todays update, I tried again. This time starting with the Fishing Boat mission. It worked fantastically, with an average 40 fps! There was some stuttering upon leaving/entering the port, but it was playable, and a lot of fun. I completed that mission, went to the Ferry mission. Back to 5-10 fps. Then I tried the Carrier mission, ~15 fps. The tug mission worked fine, until I started pulling the Carrier, then it went to ~20 fps whenever I looked at the freighter.
TL;DR I get worse and worse framerate the larger the ship. Is this a problem I can fix, or a bug?
EDIT: Speccy says:
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz
Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 630
We now believe we have solved the issues with the majority of intel/NVidia laptops and also some other crashes.
For those who have been experiencing issues, please download the latest version. You may need to restart Steam in order to update the game.
If you do run into any issues, please let us know at the usual place.
Hopefully it is now ALL AHEAD FULL.
Please make sure you do the following though –
- Open the NVidia Control panel (right click on your desktop and select this from the menu)
- Go to “manage 3D Settings” and then to the “Program Settings” tab
- Select the ess.exe file from the drop down menu (you may need to add this using the “add” button)
- In section 2 please select the option “High-performance NVIDIA Processor”
Happy sailing

Yes we should have that option when It comes to early access games we buy thsee In good faith I wouldn't want my money bac but a steam credit would be good as we could put this towards another game.
