Word, thank you. I'll wait for a bundle on the two together, or a sale on the two. Thanks!
Even Sayuri's graduation at the end of the first game is retconned to put her back in high school college again, pretty much breaking any sense of continuity the games might have had. Especially since while the main girls seem to have stopped aging, Sumire and Takashi ARE still aging.
You really don't need the first game to play this one, it's just context that this game is perfectly fine at giving you anyway. Though I would recommend the first game over this one anyway.
Thanks! Going to wait for a sale and grab that one first to be safe then. I appreciate it!
Have fun
Kozue 1 is at last 200% besser then this one.
New Clothing for the Girls each Session and the Dev nailed them perfectly.
All of Kozues Clothes are as bland as her and are Stuff her Mother could wear
Mius Clothes are full of Energy
Sayuris Clothes are all about Elegance/lady like
and Hina uh forgot xD
Actual Defeat Scenes for losing Boss Battles
Battles are more fun ( for me at least )
Way more Scenes
Also way less grinding. You don't need to heavily grind stats to get sex scenes out of the jobs, they just happen naturally., and the Persona time-pressure mechanic means you can't just infinitely grind, which is more of a blessing than it sounds. It keeps the game's pace moving.
The one positive I'll give this game (besides that the art is actually way higher quality, even if there's way less of it) is that the Dev seems to KNOW it's just lesser than the previous one, because it's cheaper too. If it was the same price or more I'd be way more disappointed.
There is no Time Limit in Dungeons so if you want, you could grind to Lv.99 in the first Dungeon. I was Lv.17 before the first Boss ^^ Had too much fun fighting....
Then there is the optional Area where you get the Psychopath(she is one in the first ever game the dev made ) and her Teacher as Party Members and Enemys grew stronger each 5 Levels, allowing a easy way to overlevel yourself.
I meant grinding social links, not battle experience.
no time limit means u can do whatever u want. no planning needed. its fun in a way but no sense or urgency. can say i like or hate it. first game better in this regard although 3 activity per day is way too little.... but after finishing the story i kinda get why there is no time limit so no complaint there. plus, the prologue already hinted at the reason.
i played this game first before the original. so i can see how lacking this game is. even more so on its limited option for costume. 3 per girls is too little compared to the original. but graphic wise is way better. i guess the sprite is time consuming to make plus i heard there was complication during development. i don't mind if they add more feature later but i do hope for more outfit and maybe even more hardcore scenes.
but i'm pretty bias since i prefer Sayuri over Kozue. Hope next game will Sayuri again as protag. I dont mind if the next 10 games is still her.
KG naming this Kozue 2 instead of Kozue after story sets the wrong expectation. Playing the games in chronological order and unlocking both Sumire and Hina (in the first game) explains their bonds a lot better instead of just having a bunch of girls thrown at you with no back story.
Sayuri is definitely a more interesting character than Kozue, but I'm pretty sure that's by design. Kozue's personality needed to be flexible considering all of the... er... options she has for very questionable character development. She's the everyman who can be anything the player wants her to be.
Sayuri is the better and more interesting character, but knowing how she is normally makes the times she randomly deviates from that feel like strange and awkward metahumor that must be non-canon to make sense, particularly in things like the Cram School scene. That would be more believable for Kozue because she's such a blank slate, but it just plain doesn't work for Sayuri because you have a good idea of who she is normally.
Funny thing, Sayuri is the horniest girl compare to others in the first game if you check her stat.
